Job Description: Publishing Creative Intern

This creative internship role supports The Walt Disney Company Publishing team in Asia Pacific (APAC). The intern will contribute to the creation and review of branded content, ensuring all creative aligns with Disney stories, sensitivities, and quality benchmarks.

Responsibilities:

• Support the generation of impactful ideas and help execute concepts that adhere to the brand vision and standards across various platforms (print, learning, digital).
• Assist the APAC Publishing Creative team with day-to-day responsibilities.
• Provide creative solutions and support to commercial teams, including pitch presentations.
• Review artwork and branded content for release to franchise stakeholders, ensuring final approval and asset delivery.
• Liaise with internal Disney stakeholders and provide progress updates as needed.
• Manage and organize assets and information flow between creative partners and external agencies.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in design, graphics, visual arts/communication, animation/motion graphics, or a design-related field.
• Strong illustration, design, or marketing portfolio.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software (Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc., creative development software, Microsoft Powerpoint, Keynote).
• Experience with multimedia storytelling is preferred.
• Experience in publishing and artwork curation is a plus.
• Knowledge of 3D software (Google SketchUp) is an advantage.
• Excellent skills in developing creative ideas and executing them in graphic format.
• Exceptional eye for detail and passion for the Disney portfolio.
• Strong project management, analytical skills, and proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Broad range of design skills and knowledge of trends, branding communications, and digital content creation.
• Strong understanding of the digital space beyond social media platforms.
• Strong team player with enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a willingness to go the extra mile.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Internship Requirements:

• Must be an undergraduate student who has not yet graduated.
• Full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) from January to June 2025.
