Job Description:
Weiber Consulting is seeking a Public Relations & Marketing Intern. This position requires a candidate who is organized, responsible, and self-motivated, with the potential to lead to a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Execution: Primarily execute various projects within the performing arts and visual arts fields.
• Content Creation: Write PR news releases, marketing messages, and assist in creating flyers, posters, and other marketing materials.
• Translation: Translate documents proficiently between Chinese and English.
• Media Monitoring & Reporting: Collect news clippings and create detailed media coverage reports.
• Community Engagement: Conduct community outreach activities.
• Event Support: Assist with press conferences and other online or in-person events.
• Social Media Management: Create social media posts, including writing WeChat articles, creating Red Note (Xiaohongshu) posts, and maintaining various social media channels.
• Team Support: Provide assistance to other team members as needed.
Qualifications:
• Education: Must have completed or be working towards a bachelor’s degree. Completed college coursework in public relations, marketing, communications, arts management, or similar subjects is preferred.
• Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese are required.
• Technical Proficiency: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Applications. Experience with Xiumi or similar tools for WeChat content layout is essential.
• Design & Editing (Plus): Experience in video editing, Adobe Photoshop, or other common design and layout applications is a plus.
• Personal Attributes: The ideal candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with team members, and able to prioritize tasks while managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
