About the Job:
This is an advertisement for a Public Relations Intern position within the Public Relations & Communications Department.

Type: This is an unpaid internship.
Location: The role is in-person and requires the intern to be based in New York, NY.
Duration: The duration is flexible.
Hours: The internship requires 20–40 hours per week, with flexibility depending on the intern’s schedule.

Role Overview:
The Public Relations Intern will work closely with the PR lead, supporting all aspects of communication and press-related activities. This is described as a hands-on, dynamic internship, offering the candidate firsthand experience in the daily operations of brand communications within an emerging fashion company. It provides an opportunity to build a foundational understanding of fashion PR through tasks ranging from sample tracking to media list updates, while contributing meaningfully to the brand’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:
The intern’s duties will include:
• Assisting with the management of press sample loans and returns.
• Helping to maintain and update media and influencer contact lists.
• Supporting the creation of press releases, pitch decks, and PR reports.
• Tracking and archiving media placements and brand mentions.
• Assisting with showroom appointments, events, and other activations.
• Monitoring social media and editorial trends across fashion and culture.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Must be based in New York City and available for in-person work.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Fashion, Marketing, or a related field.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate a proactive, resourceful attitude and a strong desire to learn.
• Familiarity with fashion media, editorial calendars, and emerging influencers is a plus.
• Previous internship experience in PR or fashion is helpful but not required.
