Job Description:

FleishmanHillard offers a comprehensive internship program for college juniors, seniors, recent college graduates, and graduate students. Interns gain practical experience and professional training from leading public relations experts. The internship provides opportunities to work on various projects, including research, writing, event coordination, media relations, and creative brainstorming.

Responsibilities:

• Media monitoring and pitching.
• Research related to client industries and new business.
• Supporting case studies and proposals related to new business.
• Drafting and editing press releases, talking points, memos, social media posts, and other written content.

Requirements:

• Must be a college junior or above with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to cultivating diverse teams and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
• Strong interest in public relations (but not exclusive to PR/communications majors).

Internship Details:

• Offered for spring, summer, and fall semesters.
• Paid internships, full-time (40 hours per week) are available and preferred.
• Hybrid work experience (remote and in-office) available to applicants local to or willing to relocate to the FleishmanHillard Washington, D.C. office.
