Job Description:
This internship offers a hands-on experience encompassing various aspects of public relations. Responsibilities include:
• Creative Development: Crafting written communications such as media materials and engaging social media content.
• Research & Analysis: Conducting thorough brand analysis utilizing diverse resources.
• Idea Generation & Collaboration: Participating actively in brainstorming sessions and sharing innovative ideas with the team.
• Media Outreach: Pitching stories to media outlets, developing media lists, tracking media placements, etc.
• Brand Monitoring: Tracking brand mentions and conversations across traditional and social media platforms.
• Administrative Tasks: Meeting deadlines, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and addressing unexpected issues efficiently. This includes meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate and precise work.

• Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Cision, Muckrack, Meltwater, Talkwalker, Brandwatch, and/or Quid is a plus.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Self-Motivation & Initiative: A proactive approach to problem-solving and identifying opportunities.
Additional Information:
• The internship is a paid position with an hourly rate of $20.00.
• The internship runs for 40 hours a week from June to August.
• Candidates must be college graduates or possess demonstrable transferable skills.
