Proposal Coordinator
The Proposal Coordinator is responsible for supporting the proposal generation process, including cost volume preparation, pricing, and coordination of leadership approval presentations. The ideal candidate will have experience creating Basis of Estimate and be familiar with estimating compliance processes.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and lead meetings with project managers, engineers, and other functional areas
• Create Basis of Estimate
• Review proposal functional inputs
• Participate in fact finding and negotiations with customers
• Assist with the coordination of all proposal activities during the entire life cycle of the proposal
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline
• Ability to coordinate and lead meetings
• Experience creating Basis of Estimate
• Familiarity with estimating compliance processes
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with Excel, including VLookup and Macro development
• Experience presenting to leadership
Desired Skills:
• Experience participating as a member of a negotiating team
• Experience with proposal management software
• Knowledge of government contracting regulations
Security Clearance:
This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Work Schedule:
• Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
