What You’ll Actually Do
• Property Inspections: Conduct regular, thorough inspections of properties under management to assess their condition and identify any maintenance or repair needs.
• Documentation & Communication: Accurately document all inspection findings with photographs and detailed notes, and communicate results to all relevant stakeholders promptly and professionally.
• Repair Coordination: Coordinate effectively with maintenance staff and external contractors to address identified issues, ensuring timely and quality repairs.
• Record Management: Maintain comprehensive and organized records of all inspection reports, work orders, and related documentation.
• Proactive Management: Assist in developing preventive maintenance plans to minimize future property issues and respond promptly to property condition and maintenance inquiries from owners and tenants.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Demonstrated core domain knowledge in property management or real estate principles, providing a strong foundation for understanding property dynamics and tenant needs.
• Experience: Prior experience in property management, real estate, or a related field is highly preferred. Proficiency in utilizing specialized inspection tools and software applications essential for comprehensive property assessments.
• Skills: Strong computer skills, including proficiency with standard office software and the ability to quickly learn new property management/inspection applications. Exceptional attention to detail, crucial for accurately identifying maintenance issues, potential safety hazards, and areas for improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with property owners, tenants, and team members. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks in a varied environment.
