Project Management Specialist | Lynntech, Inc.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Proposal Coordination: Support, and at times lead, the gathering and submission of all necessary documents and information for the many government agency proposals submitted throughout each year.
• Proposal Content Development: Read government solicitations to develop clear templates and guidelines for technical proposal writers to use, ensuring adherence to requirements.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Generate project cost reports, conduct analysis of problems and trends, and interpret cost data to identify issues and understand data insights.
• Schedule Management & Mitigation: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, and assist in implementing effective mitigation strategies to address schedule issues promptly.
• Contractual Deliverable Oversight: Assist in tracking, managing, and submitting all required contract deliverables to customers on projects, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
• Risk & Resource Management Support: Work with Project Managers and Leaders to assist in identifying and managing project risks, and support tracking project resources while assisting in conflict resolution.
• Process Improvement: Participate actively in developing and adapting new and existing project management processes to enhance overall PMO efficiency and effectiveness.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor Degree, or Associate Degree with 1 year experience/exposure to Accounting and/or Project Management principles, or HS diploma/GED with 2 years experience/exposure to Accounting and/or Project Management principles.
• Experience: Prior proposal submission experience or accounting experience is beneficial; able to interpret cost data for trends and issues, and establish/track budgets and forecasts.
• Skills: Detail-oriented; ability to multitask well while working to multiple deadlines and under pressure; strong communication and writing skills of the English language; proficient with MS Office software, including creating, maintaining, and comprehending MS Excel spreadsheets and formulas.
• Bonus: PMP or CAPM certification; working knowledge/understanding of PMI’s PMBOK principles; MS Project experience; knowledge of earned value management principles; past experience in government proposal submittals; US Citizenship required due to contract requirements.
