Job Description: Project Management Internship (Leo NY)
Leo Burnett’s New York office offers a paid, 10-week summer internship (June 2nd – August 8th) for incoming college seniors and recent graduates. The program provides a comprehensive overview of the agency’s operations, real client deliverables, mentorship from experienced professionals, skill development, and teamwork opportunities to solve client challenges.
Responsibilities:
• Manage small- to mid-scale projects from initiation to completion, adhering to deadlines, budget, and client briefs.
• Oversee the project management of creative workstreams.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Creative, Account Management, and Production teams to ensure efficient asset delivery and inter-team communication.
• Learn and apply project processes, workflows, best practices, and tools for profitable client work delivery.
• Develop scopes of work, staffing plans, and cost estimates for small projects under supervision.
• Identify and address resource gaps.
• Maintain project communications and documentation (status reports, plans, change orders, QA ticketing, asset management).
• Participate in regular status meetings.
Qualifications:
• Pursuing (rising senior) or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to keep others organized.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to foster positive relationships with colleagues.
• Self-motivated, proactive, adaptable, and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and creatively solve problems.
• Enthusiasm for the marketing and advertising industry.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Compensation: $16.12 – $23.44/hr (This is the estimated pay range; actual compensation may vary based on individual qualifications and experience).
