Job Summary: Project Management Intern
As a Project Management Intern, you’ll contribute to project success by collaborating with engineering, product management, and development teams. You’ll manage software development business processes from planning to release. This involves hands-on experience with cloud-based release planning, the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and delivering project and program updates.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring, tracking milestones, task completion, and change management.
• Ensure effective and timely communication with stakeholders.
• Manage project risks and issues, escalating as needed and collaborating with senior roles for resolution.
• Attend project, stand-up, and scrum meetings to stay informed on progress and issues.
• Communicate important external issues to relevant teams.
• Manage details, shifting between high-level strategy and in-depth implementation.
• Manage business requirements and changes, ensuring effective communication with the technical team.
• Partner with Customer Care, IT, Engineering, and Marketing teams to identify solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Current college student majoring in business management, business analytics, information systems, management information systems, project management, program management, or a related field.
• Graduation no earlier than May 2024, continuing degree pursuit post-internship.
• Strong analytical skills. Financial accounting and/or budgeting coursework is a plus.
• Prior project management experience, managing multiple teams and employing creative problem-solving.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills in cross-functional teams.
• Comfort with ambiguity, curiosity, and willingness to ask questions.
• Working knowledge of Google Suite Workspace.
