This Payment Strategy Project Intern role is crucial for supporting regional strategy leads in developing forward-thinking payment strategies, directly contributing to the unblocking of payment channels and the effective expansion of overseas business and product offerings.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Payment Strategy Development: Support regional strategy leads in developing comprehensive and forward-thinking payment strategies that align with overall business objectives and growth goals.
• Market Research & Analysis: Analyze industry trends and gather market and sector insights to stay updated on developments in the ecommerce and payments industry, market changes, and emerging technologies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders to facilitate cross-departmental collaboration across departments.
• Project Management: Support the successful execution of payment-related initiatives, ensuring timely project delivery for strategic projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This role requires candidates currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA). A background in business administration, finance, or other related fields is preferred for success in this global payment strategy position.
• Experience: Candidates should possess an understanding of current payment industry trends and emerging technologies. Prior internship experience in investment, consulting, accounting, or finance is considered advantageous. The role also requires demonstrated project management experience, specifically with a focus on delivering tangible results, and the ability to adapt to cross-timezone collaboration in a challenging work setting.
• Skills: Strong analytical and Excel skills are essential, including practical experience in strategic research, data modeling, and business valuation. An analytical mindset is crucial for translating data into actionable insights and strategies, alongside proficiency in interpreting financial statements to inform business decisions.
