Art & Nature Category Management Project Intern (TikTok Shop – Art & Nature) – 2026 Start (BS/MS) | TikTok

The Tone:
This is an internship at TikTok, located in Los Angeles, CA. TikTok is a leading global platform for short-form mobile video, dedicated to inspiring creativity and bringing joy to its users. This role is crucial for scaling the #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt phenomenon and pioneering content and creator commerce in the US, directly shaping the future of shopping on a leading, on-trend commerce platform. • Team: TikTok Shop US operation team, responsible for building TikTok’s e-commerce partnership.
• Mission: This person solves key challenges in business growth and helps scale content & creator commerce on TikTok Shop, building an innovative e-commerce ecosystem.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Define category strategy, assortment roadmap, and merchant structure based on supply, trends, and user behavior within the Art & Nature category.
• Identify category gaps in areas such as supply, content, logistics, or professionalism, and propose actionable programs to address them.
• Acquire and incubate merchants to support category growth, mapping and onboarding strategic supply partners like greenhouses, crystal suppliers, artists, and auction houses.
• Diagnose merchant performance across assortment, content, conversion, delivery, and pricing, then develop tailored growth plans.
• Guide merchants on TikTok-native content, short-form video, live shopping, and creator collaboration, driving their adoption of tools and programs to enhance GMV.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Environmental Studies, Botany, or Gemology.
• Experience: Proven internship experience in e-commerce operations, seller success management, or social media community engagement; ability to commit to at least a 3-month internship period.
• Skills: Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, with familiarity in data cleaning and basic analysis; logical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing repetitive tasks with accuracy; strong sense of responsibility.
• Bonus: A major or certificate such as a GIA Certificate, or a background in Art/Design.
