The Tone:

This role contributes to the bank’s vision by managing key international client relationships and main financing products within Global Corporate & Investment Banking. As a product expert, you will contribute to the origination, structuring, and execution of project finance, ensuring client objectives are met and supporting product development and cross-sell opportunities.

• Mission: Contribute to the origination, structuring, and execution of project finance transactions while managing client relationships and driving product development.
• Tech Stack: Advanced Excel, Microsoft Office

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead marketing, origination, and structuring of Project Finance transactions across relevant sectors in the EMEA region.
• Develop: Develop and implement financing strategies aligned with client objectives and manage internal approval processes.
• Conduct: Conduct due diligence activities and recommend optimal financing structures based on market conditions.
• Manage: Manage day-to-day client interactions, identifying and understanding client needs to develop and originate product solutions.
• Guide: Provide leadership, guidance, and advice to junior team members, ensuring quality delivery and promoting growth.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior level professional with a degree level education or relevant industry expertise, specializing in investment banking finance.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years in investment banking finance, with at least 5 years specifically in project finance within a complex financial services environment, including supporting the full transaction lifecycle and deal execution.
• Skills: Advanced knowledge of credit risk, financial modelling, and documentation; expertise in structuring non-recourse debt financing; proficiency in advanced Excel modelling (e.g., debt sculpting, sensitivity analysis); comprehensive understanding of capital markets, syndication strategies, and investor appetite.
• Bonus: Advisory experience and fluency in Spanish or Italian are beneficial.
