Embark on a dynamic Project Engineer Internship / Co-Op at Winter Construction, specifically tailored for ambitious students who have completed their freshman year of college. This isn’t just an internship; it’s a launchpad for your career, providing invaluable, real-world training that transcends classroom theory. You’ll gain direct, hands-on experience, cultivate strong professional relationships, and build an indispensable foundation of work experience critical for success in the construction industry.
As a Project Engineer Intern, you’ll be integrated directly into the core operations of our projects, gaining comprehensive exposure to a wide spectrum of daily business functions. This includes:
• Project Lifecycle Management: Dive into pre-construction planning, assist with project start-up, manage project documentation, contribute to scheduling, oversee close-out procedures, and understand warranty management.
• Technical & Operational Skills: Gain practical experience in estimating, managing submittals, implementing quality assurance, and ensuring rigorous safety protocols.
• Financial Acumen: Understand project finances and budget management.
• Strategic & Client Engagement: Participate in site analysis, assist with compelling presentations, contribute to business development initiatives, and foster essential client relationships.
