Wharton-Smith helps build communities by delivering projects such as water treatment facilities, schools, police and fire stations, parks, and themed attractions. This role is crucial for assisting Project Engineers and Project Managers with the planning, organization, and completion of construction projects, contributing to the company’s vision of being the construction group of choice. The intern will support the daily operations that bring these essential community structures to life.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project coordination: Coordinate and assist the Project Engineer and Project Manager with the planning, organization, and completion of projects within an area of assigned responsibility.
• Plan review: Review project plans and confer with management to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Bid evaluation: Assist in the review of bids received from contractors.
• Safety maintenance: Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing established procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Administrative support: Perform data entry and assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer with various daily tasks and duties.
