Position: Project Engineer Intern

Locations: Fishers, Fort Wayne – Indiana, and Louisville – Kentucky

Summary:

This internship provides an opportunity to dive into construction and project management. As a Project Engineer Intern, you will be the backbone of construction projects, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team while gaining hands-on experience in project documentation, monitoring, and coordination.

What You’ll Do:

Kickstart Projects: Assist with the start-up protocols, including contracts, budgets, and project schedules.
Keep Everyone Informed: Create and update essential project logs and reports to maintain schedules and track materials.
Collaborate with the Best: Work closely with Project Managers, Coordinators, and various stakeholders to ensure alignment and success.
Stay on Track: Analyze documents and logistics to help procure materials, labor, and equipment efficiently.
Document Progress: Record meeting minutes and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Safety First: Promote and monitor the Health and Safety Management Program to ensure a safe work environment.
Wrap It Up: Participate in project close-outs by preparing punch lists and securing warranties.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in a college or university program in construction management, business administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous internship or experience in construction or project management.
• Familiarity with construction documentation and project management software.
