Job Description: Project Engineer – AMMM Development/Production

Location: Marietta, GA

Program: AMMM (Advanced Mission & Maintenance Management)

Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of complex system/technical development efforts: This includes all phases from concept through design, implementation, testing, manufacturing/deployment, sustainment, and modifications.
Ensure alignment with Engineering and Technology strategy: This involves confirming that all technical work is aligned with Lockheed Martin’s overall engineering strategy and ensuring technical feasibility.
Manage technical risk: This includes identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Drive planning and execution across Engineering Teams: Collaborate with all engineering teams to meet contract cost, schedule, and technical requirements while satisfying customer needs.
Act as a single voice and point of contact: Communicate effectively with program management and senior leadership on program execution.
Develop innovative and scalable processes: Create and implement standardized processes to maintain project agility and flexibility.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Experience in an aircraft design, testing, integration, or sustainment environment
• Strong understanding and experience with engineering principles

Desired Skills:

• Experience in software, systems, or aircraft
• Experience using ServiceFLO
• Knowledge of EVMS (Earned Value Management System) or Cost/Schedule Principles
• Experience with proposal development (APTS)
• Understanding of contract language
• Technical supplier/sub-contract management and integration
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience coordinating across a broad range of stakeholders
• Risk/opportunity identification
• Strong teamwork skills
• Strong work ethic

Security Clearance: This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Work Schedule: 4×10 hour days with 3 days off per week.
