Job Description:
LG Electronics is seeking an undergraduate 2025 LG Summer Intern to join the Analytics, Insights, & Data Solutions (AID) Team. This is a 9-week program from June 2nd through August 1st, based in the office (Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM) at the LG North America Innovation Campus in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, with an hourly rate of $25.00.
The LG Internship Program emphasizes meaningful work and real-world experience. Each intern will work on an individual strategic project and deliver a presentation at the program’s end.
About The Role:
LG is looking for a Project & Data Enablement Intern to support ongoing initiatives across project execution and data documentation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating tasks, organizing documentation, and working with cross-functional teams to improve data transparency and access.
The intern will assist project managers with task tracking and documentation while also collaborating directly with data owners to document datasets, define schema, and provide querying guidance for BigQuery users.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Management Support
• Help manage project plans, timelines, and status updates
• Track and organize tasks using tools like JIRA or Trello
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items
• Maintain project documentation in Confluence
• Data Documentation & Enablement
• Interview data owners to gather details about datasets
• Document tables, fields, data definitions, and sample BigQuery queries
• Create user-friendly guides to help analysts and business users understand and query data
• Track and update documentation progress across teams
• Identify undocumented datasets and follow up for metadata completion
• Consolidate documentation into a centralized and searchable format
• Tool & Access Governance Support
• Assist with managing access to platforms like Tableau, Confluence, Trello, Jira
• Audit permissions and ensure access is aligned with data governance policies
• Maintain logs of access requests and approvals
Who You Are:
• Pursuing a degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Basic SQL knowledge and exposure to Google BigQuery
• Excellent communication skills – able to work with technical and non-technical teams
• Familiar with tools like Confluence, JIRA, Trello, or Tableau (nice to have)
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
