About the Job
As the Project Controls Manager, you will be responsible for the management and execution of project controls on assigned capital projects. You will have overall responsibility and accountability for the Project Controls function as it supports both project related activities and Eastman’s capital program.
The primary responsibilities include:
• Develop and maintain the Project Controls Plan on assigned portfolio of projects
• Establish cost and schedule control systems on assigned projects, including being responsible for following functions on capital projects: cost forecasting, progressing, resource forecasting and scheduling
• Create project spending (cash flow) projections, monitor cost and schedule progress for engineering, procurement and construction, and identify and address deviations
• Manage the change management process for assigned projects
• Conduct estimate reviews prior to authorizations to ensure scope and schedule are represented appropriately in estimate
• Produce formal monthly project controls reports on assigned projects
• Participate in industry and site benchmarking efforts.
• Serve as liaison between Eastman personnel and subcontractors for project reporting requirements and weekly status
• Anticipate complex internal and external project control issues with impact on the organization; recommend innovative project controls solutions
