Description:
This is an entry-level role for a Program Cost Analyst within a high-performing Finance and Business Operations team. You’ll be contributing to meeting company and program objectives by learning the basics of defense industry program cost performance analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Labor Analysis: Analyzing program performance metrics on a weekly and monthly basis, conducting monthly earned value assessments, forecasting quarterly labor hours for programs, and estimating labor hours for proposals.
• Data Management: Running SAP reports, exporting data to Excel, gathering and organizing data from various systems, entering data into performance reports, updating performance metric dashboards, and assisting with data analysis.
• Collaboration: Working effectively with team members across functional and program organizations, developing cost performance metric presentations, and ensuring compliance with Lockheed Martin policies, procedures, DFARS, and contract requirements.

• You’ll receive on-the-job training from experienced program cost analysts and team leaders.

Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, data analysis, or accounting.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills (at least one year of experience using Excel in college coursework, previous job, or personal application).
Desired Skills:
• Advanced-level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, graphs, VLOOKUP, and conditional formulas.
• Mid-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Data organization skills.
• Data analysis skills, especially cost variance calculations and explanations.
• Data visualization skills, especially with web-based tools like Tableau software.
• Basic accounting skills, especially cost accounting.

Location:
This position is located in the leased office space at 10 Technology Road, Westford, Mass., which is about 2 miles from the Chelmsford facility at 16 Maple Road. Chelmsford is a charming suburb of Boston with a scenic colonial region offering lots of New England charm, great schools, shopping, and restaurants.
Remote Work:
This position will initially require on-site presence at least 75% of the time. After successfully completing training and demonstrating the ability to independently perform responsibilities, you may work up to 50% remotely.
