Job Description:
GDT is seeking a highly organized and resourceful Programming Intern to assist in bringing their professional development and community events to life. This is a remote position, though candidates in the Los Angeles area are preferred.
• Location: Remote / Los Angeles preferred
• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: 5–15 hrs/week
• Compensation: Unpaid, with potential for paid opportunities
Responsibilities:
• Researching and booking expert speakers, facilitators, and coaches for monthly professional development events.
• Sourcing and securing venues for co-working days, deep-dive masterminds, and co-creation labs (primarily in Los Angeles).
• Managing logistics: speaker/venue outreach, confirmations, and scheduling.
• Supporting the curation and planning of monthly sessions and event calendars.
• Collaborating on new formats and ideas that expand the GDT programming ecosystem.
Types of Programming the Intern Will Support:
• Expert Masterclasses on business, branding, and creative skills.
• Speaker Series with trailblazers across industries.
• Business & Creative Workshops.
• Deep-Dive Mastermind Circles – intimate facilitated group sessions.
• Co-Creation Labs – collaborative build-and-brainstorm spaces.
• Community Co-Working Days – intentional productivity and connection.
Ideal Candidate:
• Passionate about creativity, entrepreneurship, and growth.
• Loves organizing people, systems, and event logistics.
• Proactive, resourceful, and excellent at online research.
• Wants experience building meaningful community-driven events.
• Can commit 5–15 hrs/week and is available for occasional in-person events in LA.
