Job Description: PRODUCTION OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT INTERN – SUMMER 2025
This is a dynamic 12-week internship (May 19 – August 8, 2025) in Salina, KS offering a hands-on experience with real-world projects. Interns will have the opportunity to:

Responsibilities:
• Production Oversight: Lead and direct production, packaging, or bakery lines, ensuring products meet quality and safety standards (company and USDA).
• Employee Supervision: Manage and mentor production staff, focusing on skill development, safety, housekeeping, and policy administration, while fostering a positive work environment. This includes experience with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding, complying with EEO and Affirmative Action guidelines.
• Quality & Compliance: Collaborate with USDA representatives to ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Oversee and approve Quality Assurance and HACCP documentation.
• Problem Solving & Cost Control: Participate in problem-solving, cost control, and continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Mentorship & Growth: Receive ongoing mentorship from experienced managers, gaining insights into leadership and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
• Education: Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program (Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or Logistics) with an anticipated graduation date of December 2025 or May 2026. A GPA of 3.0+ is preferred.
• Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
