Production Management Intern – Green Bay, WI – Year Round | Schreiber Foods

• Mission: Drive process improvements, ensure product quality and safety, and contribute to meeting daily production goals.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Gain exposure to people leadership, process improvements, and a variety of operations projects.
• Develop an understanding of production lines and manufacturing processes within the facility.
• Support projects aimed at improving product quality, overall productivity, and ensuring a food-safe product.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to meet or exceed daily production goals and identify process issues.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, interpreting and communicating customer requirements to production and support groups.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Dairy Science, Food Science, Animal Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Quality, or a similar field. Must be enrolled as a student through at least May 2027.
• Experience: Proven leadership experience with a desire to lead people in the future; ability to work 40 hours/week during the summer and 15-20 hours during the school year; must have reliable transportation.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities; self-starter who takes initiative and works independently; proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Power Point; ability to interact well with diverse backgrounds and adapt communication styles, including training hourly partners on process changes.
