Production Management Internship:

This internship is a summer opportunity for students pursuing degrees in various fields like agriculture, dairy science, food science, industrial engineering, business management, and more. The internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment.

What you’ll do:

Shadowing: Gain valuable insights by shadowing a senior-level Production Supervisor.
Process Improvement: Assist in projects that aim to enhance quality, productivity, and food safety.
Production Goals: Collaborate with plant leadership to meet or surpass daily production targets.
Customer Requirements: Understand customer needs and communicate them effectively to the team.
Plant Efficiency: Work to increase plant productivity and efficiency by identifying and resolving issues.
Food Safety and Quality: Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, customer requirements, and established procedures.
Auditing: Establish and audit procedures to monitor processes and ensure customer satisfaction.

What you need to succeed:

Degree: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Carthage, Missouri for the summer of 2025 (relocation assistance provided).
Academic Status: Must have completed sophomore or junior year of college and be enrolled as a student during the internship.
Work Availability: Must be able to work 40 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer of 2025.
Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to the plant.
Leadership: Proven leadership experience and a desire to lead others in the future.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, initiative, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent communication skills, adaptability, and training abilities.
