Job Description

This is an Internship Program designed to provide students with the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge and skills in a real-world corporate setting. Interns will be fully immersed in the daily operations of their department, directly involved with tasks and projects that contribute to UFC’s growth.

Program Details:
Eligibility: Open to any student currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program.
Location: This is an on-site, in-person internship in Las Vegas, NV.
Logistics: UFC does not provide relocation, housing, or transportation assistance.
Program Dates (Fall 2025):
Start Date: August 25, 2025
End Date: November 21, 2025

The Role And What You’ll Do:
As a Production Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting staff and crew during shoots.
• Assisting with the set up and tear down of shoots.
• Logging footage into the production asset management system.
• Organizing media within the production asset management system.
• Creating video links for online distribution.
• Downloading content from third-party clients.
• Transcribing videos.
• Downloading videos as needed.
• Other tasks, duties, or projects as assigned.

You Have These (Required Qualifications):
Academic Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in an academic program directly relating to the position, such as Television, Film, Communication, or Journalism majors.
Academic Level: Junior, Senior, or Graduate-level preferred.
Skills & Proficiencies:
• Willingness to learn and advance production knowledge and skills, primarily in post-production and live television broadcasting.
• Proficient in Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Comfortable using Mac-based products.
• Knowledge of basic computer programs and a willingness to utilize and learn new programs.

• Ability to take ownership of delegated work and projects.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information.
• Must be a team player.
