Job Description:

This internship offers hands-on experience in television production and post-production within 20th Television’s Studio Production and Post-Production teams. Interns will assist in managing pilots and series at various development stages, gaining insight into the logistical aspects and daily operations of show production. The role provides opportunities for show-level experience and interaction with 20th Studio executives.

Detailed Responsibilities:

Learning the Production Process: Gain a comprehensive understanding of managing production and post-production from a corporate perspective, encompassing development, preparation, production, and post-production phases.
Document Management: Familiarize oneself with and maintain production-related documents essential for filming.
Collaboration: Work alongside Studio Coordinators, Production and Post-Production Executives, and shadow specific projects.
Special Project: Develop and present a special project (with guidance) to Production and Post-Production Executives and Coordinators at the internship’s conclusion.
Meeting Support: Attend and assist in setting up internal studio meetings and meetings with productions.
Desk Coverage: Answer phones, manage schedules, and schedule meetings as needed.
Administrative Duties: Perform administrative and office tasks, including ordering supplies, processing Start Paperwork, distributing documents, and maintaining production documents.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Prior internship or job experience in an office environment.
• Strong interest in the Television and Entertainment Industry.
• Enthusiasm for production and post-production.
• Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous internship experience in a related field.
• Enrollment in an accredited college/university (taking at least one class in the semester/quarter prior to the internship), recent graduation (within 6 months of application), participation in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
• Senior-year student or recent graduate (within 6 months of graduation).

Eligibility Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age.
• No completion of one year of continuous employment on a Disney internship or program.
• Unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information:

• Consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship.
• Remote position requiring a reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace.
• Availability Monday-Friday, 9 am to 6 pm PT (40 hours/week).
• Self-provided housing in the Los Angeles, CA area.
• Reliable transportation.
• Pay rate: $22.00/hour (California). Select benefits may be offered.
