ESPN Product Marketing Intern, New York City, Fall 2026 | ESPN
The Tone:
This is an internship at ESPN, located in New York City, scheduled for Fall 2026 (September through December). ESPN is a leading sports media company that helps shape how sports fans experience the biggest moments in sports across every platform, from breaking news and live events to studio shows and original storytelling. This role is crucial within the Product Marketing & Subscriber Strategy team, which focuses on developing Direct to Consumer strategies and testing roadmaps to drive growth, engagement, and business results. The intern will contribute to optimizing the fan experience across various touchpoints, ensuring loyal subscribers understand ESPN’s value proposition.
The TL;DR

• Type: Full-time (40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, for Fall 2026)
• Location: In-person, New York, NY
• Pay: $22.50 hourly
• Team: Product Marketing & Subscriber Strategy team
• Mission: To optimize the fan experience and build loyal subscribers by developing and testing Direct to Consumer strategies across fantasy sports experiences, marketing landing pages, and subscription flows.
• Tech Stack: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs or best practices.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Management: Manage projects focused on a variety of business initiatives, supporting the team’s strategic goals.
• Data Analysis: Collaborate with team members to develop actionable insights derived from ongoing campaign performance data.
• Operational Support: Provide administrative and operational assistance, including coordinating and processing asset requests.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other groups both inside and outside the marketing organization to foster cross-departmental learnings and alignment.
• Market Research: Research new trends and applications within streaming technology to enhance ESPN’s overall marketing strategy and presence.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be at least 18 years of age and possess unrestricted work authorization. Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. Senior year students are preferred, with a major or previous coursework in Communications, Marketing, Sports Media, or a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience collaborating across teams while effectively managing multiple projects and consistently meeting deadlines.
• Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills for team environments, an interest in analyzing data and dashboards to support marketing decisions, and a high attention to detail for accurate work in fast-paced settings.
• Bonus: Previous academic or internship experience in marketing or sports media, a fundamental understanding of the ESPN portfolio, knowledge of sports from both a fan and business perspective, or familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs or best practices.
