Job Description: Product Marketing Intern

As a Product Marketing Intern at Palo Alto Networks, you will be involved in a variety of projects, working alongside subject matter experts. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading team projects.
• Gaining a deep understanding of existing products and solutions.
• Performing competitor analysis.
• Identifying market differentiators.
• Creating compelling marketing messages for various content formats to engage customers.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with product marketing, content marketing, campaigns, and product management teams.
• Contributing to projects that deliver value to customers and the team.
• This role offers an entry-level position within Palo Alto Networks’ product marketing organization, known for its revolutionary “Next-Generation” branding.
• Utilizing marketing, business, technology/engineering, and writing skills to bring security products to market.

This internship is part of a global program designed to train the next generation of cybersecurity talent. Interns will gain valuable experience in the network security industry, learn from leading experts, expand their professional networks, and gain a career-defining experience.

Qualifications:

• Interest in product marketing and/or product management.
• Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies, adapt to changing needs, and possess strong analytical skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to clearly articulate complex issues.
• Interest/willingness to learn about cybersecurity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, driven, and confident – ability to clearly and persuasively articulate the company’s mission, product, and business opportunities.
• Currently pursuing a 4-year Undergraduate Degree (GPA 3.0 or above), a 2-year Master’s Degree, or a Doctorate degree, and returning to school in the fall.

The Prisma Cloud Marketing Team: The team works on high-impact projects with the opportunity to shape the future of cloud and digital security globally. Interns will contribute to the creation of industry-leading content in response to rapidly growing cybersecurity threats. The role provides exposure to the dynamic changes in the industry and allows interns to assist internal teams, customers, and partners in addressing evolving threats.

Compensation: The starting hourly rate is expected to be between $25/hr to $32/hr, depending on qualifications and experience.
