About the Job: Product Marketing Intern (Contractor Equipment Division – CED):
This internship supports Graco’s Contractor Equipment Division (CED), which produces sprayers for paint, texture, and other coatings. CED is experiencing significant growth and investment, focusing on converting contractors from manual application methods (brush and roller) to spray technology.
The intern will work closely with a Product Manager on a variety of projects, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include:
• Market Research: Conducting secondary market research on products, applications, and markets; analyzing the competitive landscape; developing market segmentation strategies; assisting with voice-of-customer efforts; reviewing industry publications and reporting on trends.
• Sales Analysis: Performing historical sales analysis to identify issues and opportunities.
• Product Development & Launch: Assisting in the development of training materials for sales and distribution teams; participating in the design and development process for new products; supporting new product launch initiatives.
• Marketing Materials: Helping create reports, presentations, brochures, and other selling tools.
Qualifications:
• Sophomore or Junior pursuing a Marketing or Business degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and possess mechanical aptitude.
Compensation:
The hourly pay range is $16.00 – $27.00, depending on factors like location, skills, education, and experience. Top interns may be offered full-time employment upon graduation.
