Job Description: Product Marketing Engineering Intern (Summer 2025)

Team: Systems & Solutions Team (SST)

Department: Global Marketing Team

This internship offers a Summer 2025 position for a talented Electrical Engineering/Computer Science student. The SST team focuses on Renesas’ Winning Combinations, Reference Designs, Lab on the Cloud, and other embedded solutions designed to accelerate customer design cycles.

Responsibilities:

Market Analysis: Help identify key market segments based on Total Addressable Market (TAM) / Serviceable Available Market (SAM) and product fit analysis.
Marketing Collateral Development: Create various marketing materials for embedded solutions, including:
• Solution one-pagers
• Feature/benefit messaging
• Technical blogs
• Videos
• Training webinars
Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive analyses to pinpoint strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for user experience improvement.
Internal & External Promotion: Promote marketing collateral internally and on Renesas.com to increase awareness and adoption of solutions.
Website Support: Contribute to website reviews and updates to ensure content freshness and accessibility.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and global teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning.

Compensation:

The expected hourly pay range is $27-$32, dependent on location, experience, and skills.
