Team Introduction: Business Risk Integrated Control (BRIC)

The BRIC team is focused on:

• Protecting TikTok users, including content consumers, creators, and advertisers.
• Ensuring platform health and community experience authenticity.
• Building infrastructure, platforms, and technologies.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

This team works to minimize the damage caused by inauthentic behaviors on TikTok platforms (TikTok, CapCut, Resso, Lark), covering areas like account integrity, engagement authenticity, anti-spam, API abuse, growth fraud, live streaming security, and financial safety.

Job Description: Product Manager, Risk Control

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to TikTok’s mission by shaping the future of their risk control infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Define strategy and roadmap: Participate in defining the strategy and roadmap for the risk control infrastructure.
• User advocacy: Act as the voice of the user, gathering feedback on future platform designs and tooling.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other product teams to understand requirements and incorporate them into planning.
• Risk control development: Collaborate with risk control Research and Development (RD) to build and improve systems for risk perception, identification, intervention, and governance effect measurement. Design common risk control products and services to support different businesses.
• Platform development: Work with Engineering to build the next version of the risk control platform.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

• Currently pursuing a BS/MS in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with exceptional logical thinking ability.
• Proven initiative and organizational skills.

Preferred:

• Demonstrated product management experience from internships or projects.
• Curiosity towards new technologies and entrepreneurship.
• High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities.
• Some knowledge of the risk management field or the ability to learn quickly.
