Job Description: Product Management Summer Intern
This internship provides hands-on experience working on Epicor’s innovative Cognitive ERP solutions. The intern will support the product management team in several key areas:
• Strategic Planning & Roadmap Development: Assisting in refining and prioritizing the AI product roadmap through market research, data analysis, and competitive insights.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with engineering, data science, UX, and marketing teams to coordinate project tasks and gather customer feedback.
• Go-to-Market Activities: Contributing to the development of go-to-market strategies, including creating sales materials and participating in customer advisory sessions.
• Prototyping & Experimentation: Generating early prototypes to validate product ideas and gather insights from internal stakeholders and customers.
• Trend Monitoring: Staying up-to-date on emerging trends in AI, machine learning, and data science to support product improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (experience building software is emphasized over specific degree).
• Demonstrated academic performance and interest in product management and AI technologies.
• Explain and demonstrate how LLMs and RAG work.
• Ability to lead discovery and validation interviews with customers and stakeholders.
• Foundational product management knowledge (familiarity with core concepts).
• Basic understanding of AI/ML principles and eagerness to learn about their applications in ERP systems.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies (a plus).
Additional Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):
• Basic programming skills (Python, C#).
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and/or prompt engineering for LLMs.
• Exposure to data analytics tools and methodologies.
