Product Management/Marketing Intern
Summer 2025 | Eden Prairie, Minnesota | Full-Time, Paid
This internship offers a chance to join the Ground Road Vehicle team within MTS Systems. The team is dedicated to designing and building cutting-edge durability and performance test systems for automotive clients.
Job Summary:
As a Product Management/Marketing Intern, you will contribute to the success of assigned products throughout their lifecycle. This involves understanding market needs, maximizing customer satisfaction, and driving growth, profitability, and market share. Your work will align with the business unit’s overall goals and strategies.
Project Responsibilities:
• Customer-Back Innovation Program: Collaborate with a cross-functional team to retrofit new technology into existing products, extending their lifecycle and enhancing value for customers.
• Platform Product Intranet Development: Lead the design of a new SharePoint site for sales and marketing tools and presentations. Work closely with product managers to develop content and structure the site effectively.

• On-site Experience: The internship is located at the Eden Prairie, Minnesota headquarters, offering a collaborative and hands-on experience.
• Flexible Schedule: Enjoy the flexibility to tailor your internship start and end dates to your academic schedule.
• Networking & Activities: Attend events within MTS and across ITW divisions in Minnesota. Participate in fun activities such as baseball games, happy hours, and summer sports leagues.
• Project Presentation: At the end of the summer, present your completed project to MTS business leaders, showcasing your impact and contributions.
Qualifications:
• Education: Rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Academic Standing: 3.0 GPA or above.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organization & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Learning & Attitude: Eager to learn with a proactive and positive attitude.
• Leadership & Teamwork: Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills through extracurricular activities, academics, etc.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Location: Must be able to work onsite at the Eden Prairie, MN location.
• Experience: Previous relevant internship experience is preferred.
Compensation: $24-27/ hour based on degree and experience.
