Internship, Product Engineer, Applications Engineering (Fall 2026) | Tesla

The Tone:
This is an internship at Tesla, located on-site. The TL;DR

• Pay: $33.65 – $37.02 hourly
• Team: Product Management team composed of product engineers, business analysts, UX designers, and full stack software engineers.
• Mission: This person supports Product Managers in representing customer needs and balancing business priorities for multiple products.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support Product Managers in driving critical team efforts and collaborative initiatives to completion.
• Assist with workstreams including new product specification and offering definition, new market entry, and service and maintenance topics.
• Conduct market and customer research, present tradeoffs, and drive decisions with technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Prepare new products and offerings for launch by leading internal workstreams and developing training materials.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field, with a graduation date between December 2026 and December 2027.
• Experience: Previous cross-functional work spanning technical, financial, and operational aspects.
• Skills: Strong academic understanding of technical topics; interest in operations, finance, or strategy; excellent organization, communication, and documentation skills.
