Job Description: Product Management Internship, Summer 2025

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week internship in San Francisco, running from May to August 2025. As a Product Management Intern, you will:

Collaborate with engineers and customers: Help develop a new, impactful product for Meraki’s product line, contributing to its success in the multi-billion-dollar analytics market.
Work with the executive team: Participate in establishing a winning product strategy.
Collaborate across teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, and partner teams to ensure market adoption and rapid growth.
Engage in various product development activities: These include identifying new product concepts and go-to-market (GTM) strategies, developing new products for specific customer segments (e.g., service providers), conducting customer research and competitive analyses, creating product documentation, and developing product requirements documents (PRDs) and roadmaps.

Required Qualifications:

• Upcoming graduate of an MBA program, technical degree program, technical boot camp, or apprenticeship.
• Strong business background (MBA, Product Management, or Marketing preferred).
• CCNA/CCNP/CCIE routing/switching/security certifications are a plus.
• Experience with or passion for networking, cloud, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent user empathy and a desire to understand customer problems.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, and commitment to product quality.
• Creativity in solving technical problems.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Intern Program Overview:

The internship program lasts 12-14 weeks. Interns are placed directly onto sub-teams and work on a small starter project initially, followed by a larger, cross-functional project offering exposure to various technologies and fostering a sense of ownership. Each intern receives a 1:1 mentor for guidance and support.
