Job Description: Product Management Intern
This internship offers an opportunity to support Ingersoll Rand’s product management team, contributing to the development and execution of strategies aimed at achieving product success. The intern will gain valuable hands-on experience across various critical aspects of product management, including market research, product development, and collaboration with diverse cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Assisting in the comprehensive analysis of market trends and evolving customer needs to inform product strategy.
• Providing support throughout the lifecycle of new products, from initial development phases to successful market launch.
• Conducting in-depth competitive analysis to identify market positioning, strengths, weaknesses of competitors, and opportunities for enhancing existing products or creating new ones.
• Facilitating coordination and ensuring strategic alignment among key departments such as engineering, design, and marketing teams.
• Contributing to the creation and refinement of essential product documentation and presentation materials.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Business, Engineering, Marketing, or another related discipline.
• Possession of strong analytical skills for data interpretation and problem-solving abilities to address challenges effectively.
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, alongside strong organizational abilities to manage tasks and projects efficiently.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with various product management tools is considered a valuable advantage.
• A genuine passion for the manufacturing industry and the process of product development.
Starting Pay:
The compensation for this internship ranges from $20 to $26 per hour.
