Department: Studio Engagement Services
Schedule: Full Time, Monday – Friday, 8-5pm CT
Location: Remote

Internship Summary:
The Internship Program with Ascension offers an on-the-job learning experience, providing “real-world” work exposure within a large healthcare environment. Interns will support leadership by delivering data-driven insights that add value to those served by Ascension. The program’s objective is to foster a working and learning environment where interns can develop essential skills and competencies to become successful professionals and potential Ascension associates.

About the Ascension Growth Marketing and Digital Experience (GMDx) Team:
The GMDx Team is dedicated to transforming healthcare by creating brand-wide digital experiences powered by people, design, data, and technology. They aim to serve both consumers and those who provide care. The team believes in developing solutions based on a deep understanding of user needs, business considerations, and technical possibilities. They prioritize outcomes over outputs, measure the impact of their solutions, and continuously improve and upgrade them. The GMDx team operates with empowered teams, clear structures, goals, and lightweight processes to produce high-quality solutions.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities):
The Ascension GMDx Product Management Intern will:
• Develop product management skills through various work assignments.
• Focus on Ascension’s digital consumer products to enhance the digital experience for consumers.
• Maintain a strong focus on consumers and their journeys.
• Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders.
• Influence product roadmaps.
• Collaborate with the in-house product analytics team to conduct data-driven experiments and measure outcomes.

What You Will Need (Qualifications):

Education:
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in a related field.
• Consideration will also be given to candidates in non-collegiate programs and those with applicable real-world experience.
• General requirement: High school diploma equivalency OR enrolled in an accredited program specific to the discipline.
Knowledge:
• General understanding of and experience with product development techniques and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of Healthcare, Data Analytics, Platforms, APIs, or Web Localization/Optimization is a plus.
Preferred Competencies:
• Skilled at organizing and paying attention to details.
• Ability to prioritize work effectively under tight deadlines while remaining flexible.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
