Job Description: Product Management Intern

This 10-week summer internship offers hands-on experience within MCG Health’s Product Management team, focusing on their newest product, ODG for Auto Injury. The intern will contribute directly to MCG’s mission of transforming healthcare through MCG Guidelines. The internship involves several key areas:

Market Research: Investigating market trends and customer demands by analyzing competitors, customer reviews, and industry reports to identify opportunities and gaps. This includes identifying relevant conferences and trade shows.
Customer Feedback: Gathering and analyzing feedback from clients (potential and existing) through surveys and other methods to understand their needs and pain points.
Data Analysis: Supporting the team in analyzing usage data from pilot implementations to identify patterns and inform product adjustments.
Usability Testing: Facilitating user testing sessions to gather insights on interface design and user experience, leading to improvements.
Content Review: Reviewing existing content to ensure it meets market needs and identifying areas for improvement or expansion.
Cost & Risk Analysis: Assisting in evaluating financial models to ensure they benefit claims management.

Responsibilities:

Interns will work closely with their team and manager, receiving mentorship and guidance. They will collaborate with peers and potentially cross-functional teams, participating in company-wide activities. The intern will:

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field (junior or senior year).
• Strong academic performance and relevant foundational knowledge.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent) and willingness to learn new software.
• Demonstrated interest in health tech, innovation, or problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to take initiative and use good judgment.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately, managing multiple priorities.
• Mandatory attendance at MCG Health Seattle office for New Hire Orientation.

Compensation & Duration:

Pay Range: $25/hr
Duration: 10 weeks

Travel: Occasional travel may be required for team or company events.
