Job Description: Product Management Intern
This graduate-level internship (undergraduates may be considered with sufficient qualifications) offers practical experience enhancing B2B security and operations capabilities within Tanium’s Converged and Autonomous Endpoint Management Platform.
Responsibilities:
• Working with a mentor and collaborating with designers, subject matter experts, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Addressing software lifecycle needs, taking features from conception to completion.
• Developing and delivering features used by Tanium’s customers.
• Leading a visible, impactful project (examples include improving existing capabilities, integrating with external systems, and producing a unique deliverable).
• Regular one-on-one meetings with a mentor.
• Presenting project work to the team at the internship’s conclusion.
• Participating in intern events and networking.
Required Qualifications:
• Graduate student status HIGHLY preferred; undergraduates considered with all relevant qualifications.
• US work authorization.
• Full-time availability (June 9, 2025 – August 15, 2025).
• Current enrollment in a university degree program (computer science or related technical field).
• 3.5 GPA or higher.
• Graduation date of Spring 2026 or Fall 2025.
• Experience completing software development projects using backend and/or frontend languages.
• Self-motivation and a drive for learning.
• Passion for technology and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Some team leadership experience.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
• Prior internship or work experience in engineering, business, or government.
Compensation:
• hourly rate: $45-$60 (estimate, subject to adjustment based on factors including education, skills, and experience).
