Product Management Intern
Our Product Management Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the product management team on diverse projects spanning new product development, marketing, and sales. This team is pivotal in ensuring Rheem consistently meets customer satisfaction while effectively coordinating with internal teams to drive successful product development, solidifying Rheem’s reputation as a leader in our industry.
Position Details
- Division: US Air Division
- Location: Lewisville, TX
- Employment Type: Part-Time
- Hours: Approximately 15-20 hours per week while in school (additional hours available during breaks)
- Interaction: Requires some in-person interaction
- Duration: This is not a “summer-only” internship.
Responsibilities
- Support the development, documentation, technical literature (specifications, parts, accessories), and commercialization plans for new product launches.
- Participate actively in weekly project meetings for various products.
- Perform competitive benchmarking by collecting web and print data, and creating databases for relevant product categories.
- Research main competitors to contribute to the Market Intelligence Database.
- Research and maintain a new database essential for Product Hub, New Product Development, identifying Product Gaps, and developing Sales Tools.
- Conduct research on controls.
- Perform data analysis for the Product Development Process (PDP).
- Support activities related to the Product Excellence Panel.
- Potential travel to Fort Smith to assist with New Product Introduction builds, engineering, and manufacturing activities.
- Support CTO Implementation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in product marketing/product design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and computer skills (proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
