The Tone:
This is a hybrid internship opportunity at GenPark, located in Seattle, WA, with some work-from-home flexibility. GenPark operates a pioneering discovery platform designed to revolutionize global commerce by deploying Intelligent Brand Agents and User Agents. These agents utilize behavioral and contextual insights, integrating personalized AI content, interactive agents, and immersive video. The platform empowers brands to effectively connect with and engage Gen Z audiences by streamlining the entire discovery, engagement, and conversion process. This role is crucial for an intern who will be instrumental in assisting with the development and enhancement of new and existing product features, contributing actively to software development initiatives across the platform, and supporting the creation of cutting-edge agent-driven solutions for modern marketing.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Feature Development: Assist in developing and enhancing new and existing product features.
• Software Contribution: Actively contribute to various software development initiatives across the platform.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
• Data-driven Insights: Rigorously analyze data to inform critical product decisions and improvements.
• Strategic Research & Support: Conduct essential product-specific research and support project management activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: You are currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. You bring foundational knowledge in Product Engineering and Software Development, typically gained from relevant coursework.
• Experience: Demonstrated practical experience or relevant coursework that includes developing and enhancing software products, and contributing to development initiatives.
• Skills: Proficient analytical abilities to assess data and inform product improvements; strong communication skills for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical teams; keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities when approaching technical challenges; and familiarity with basic project management principles to assist in planning and execution.
• Bonus: Prior experience with artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), or virtual agents is a significant plus.
