Job Description:
K. Hovnanian is seeking a Product Development and Sourcing Intern for the summer. This internship is designed to provide exposure to real-life tasks that a junior or entry-level product coordinator would be expected to perform. The intern will work alongside a senior Product Development team member and will be tasked with various responsibilities allowing experience with a variety of tools.
Responsibilities include:
• Managing samples
• Researching Suppliers on Panjiva
• Preparing Powerpoint presentations
• Data entry and analysis
• Creating data reports
• Creating specification sheets and product cards
• Managing UPS shipments
This position qualifies for a hybrid schedule; 3 days on-site and 2 days remote TBD, typically 9-5 M-F or this position works 3 days on-site, typically 9-5 T-W-TH.
Compensation:
Compensation for this internship will range from $20.00-$25.00/hour.
