Job Description: Product Designer for SaraWorks

Radicle Health is seeking a thoughtful, curious, and self-directed Product Designer to join their SaraWorks team as their first dedicated design hire. This is a high-impact role for someone wanting to integrate design thinking into product development and define design within a mission-driven SaaS team.

Responsibilities:

Own the end-to-end design process for key features and workflows, from initial discovery to final delivery.
Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate user needs and business objectives into intuitive interfaces.
Conduct user research and testing to inform design choices.
Create design deliverables, including wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity visuals, and occasionally product copy.
Contribute to and establish a scalable, reusable design system.
Set design best practices and foster a strong design culture within the organization.
Advocate for the user in strategic product discussions.

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience designing digital products (preferably SaaS or web applications).
Proficiency in Figma, including design, prototyping, and working with shared libraries or design systems.
• Ability to independently manage and drive projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Excellent communication skills, including giving and receiving feedback, explaining design rationale clearly, and collaborating effectively.
• Ability to handle complex workflows and simplify them into intuitive user experiences.
• A portfolio showcasing strong UX thinking, clean visual design, and real-world impact.
• Enthusiasm for building scalable systems and reusable patterns, beyond just polished visuals.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to pass a federal background check.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience designing for accessibility and understanding inclusive design principles.
• Experience working in a small team or startup setting.
• Familiarity with healthtech, govtech, edtech, or other mission-driven domains.
