Job Description: Product Designer for SaraWorks
Radicle Health is seeking a thoughtful, curious, and self-directed Product Designer to join their SaraWorks team as their first dedicated design hire. This is a high-impact role for someone wanting to integrate design thinking into product development and define design within a mission-driven SaaS team.
Responsibilities:
• Own the end-to-end design process for key features and workflows, from initial discovery to final delivery.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate user needs and business objectives into intuitive interfaces.
• Conduct user research and testing to inform design choices.
• Create design deliverables, including wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity visuals, and occasionally product copy.
• Contribute to and establish a scalable, reusable design system.
• Set design best practices and foster a strong design culture within the organization.
• Advocate for the user in strategic product discussions.
Qualifications:
• 2–4 years of experience designing digital products (preferably SaaS or web applications).
• Proficiency in Figma, including design, prototyping, and working with shared libraries or design systems.
• Ability to independently manage and drive projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Excellent communication skills, including giving and receiving feedback, explaining design rationale clearly, and collaborating effectively.
• Ability to handle complex workflows and simplify them into intuitive user experiences.
• A portfolio showcasing strong UX thinking, clean visual design, and real-world impact.
• Enthusiasm for building scalable systems and reusable patterns, beyond just polished visuals.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to pass a federal background check.
Nice-to-haves:
• Experience designing for accessibility and understanding inclusive design principles.
• Experience working in a small team or startup setting.
• Familiarity with healthtech, govtech, edtech, or other mission-driven domains.
