Job Description: Procurement Operations Internship

This is a 6-month, paid internship at Cargill Business Services Sofia, Bulgaria. The internship offers 30 working hours per week on a hybrid working model, allowing for flexible scheduling to accommodate university programs. The goal is to identify talent for permanent positions within the company.

Job Purpose and Impact:

The intern will gain practical experience within Cargill’s European procurement operations, contributing directly to the needs of business units across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. It’s designed to provide a significant career kick-start.

Key Accountabilities:

• Issuing purchase orders to suppliers.
• Monitoring and following up on order confirmations and deliveries.
• Managing amendments to purchase orders.
• Providing end-user support, including receiving support requests, expediting them, and escalating when necessary.
• Establishing and maintaining end-user support systems.
• Identifying sources of discrepancies.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Team assignment will be determined during the selection process based on candidate performance and preferences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Academic background: Preferably in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of university studies.
Language skills: Very good written and verbal English skills.
Experience: Interest in working in a complex, multinational environment.
Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
