About the Job: Procurement Intern
This internship is targeted at MBA students, particularly those interested in or pursuing supply chain management, who are eager to gain hands-on experience in procurement. The role is designed for individuals who want to contribute to exciting initiatives within a fast-paced environment.
As a Procurement Intern, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting Procurement Operations. The internship offers valuable insights into the entire “cradle-to-grave” procurement process, strategic sourcing, project management, and SAP Materials Management. The intern will collaborate closely with the procurement team and other departments to enhance procurement efficiency.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Market Research: Conducting ongoing research to identify beneficial purchase agreements and potential vendors.
• Bid Management: Preparing and evaluating bid lists, requests for information (RFIs), and proposals to secure the best value offerings.
• Procurement Support: Acting as the primary contact for After Sales Service operations in the US, assisting with daily procurement needs.
• Technical Coordination: Facilitating requests for technical clarifications and expediting bid submissions.
• Negotiations: Supporting or directly conducting commercial negotiations to ensure documented cost and contractual improvements.
• Vendor Relations: Maintaining relationships with vendors, managing purchase orders, and supervising delivery schedules.
• System Management: Entering and managing purchase orders within SAP (ERP System).
• Compliance: Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
• Strategic Development: Developing procurement strategies that align with the company’s after-sales service goals.
Exciting Project Opportunities will involve:
• Strategic Sourcing Opportunity: Collaborating with shop personnel to launch RFPs for suppliers and negotiate best value offerings.
• CCUS Packaging Canvas: Conducting supplier queries and executing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) related to the Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) Growth Plan in the Americas.
• Everllence Branding: Developing a comprehensive plan to address branding concerns across various procurement documents.
• Supplier Revalidation: Implementing a phased plan to improve supplier qualification processes.
• Flow Down of Prime Contractual Requirements: Interfacing with commercial contracts attorneys to efficiently capture customer requirements.
Who Everllence is looking for:
• An individual with a Bachelor’s degree who is currently pursuing an MBA, ideally with a specialization in supply chain management.
• Candidates should bring 1-3 years of prior work experience in procurement or a related field.
• Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
• Familiarity with SAP Materials Management is considered a plus, but not mandatory.
