About the Process Improvement Team

The Process Improvement team is critical to operationalizing and scaling the policies and procedures that underpin our operational teams. Our mandate is comprehensive, encompassing both internal operational excellence and the end-to-end customer experience. We are responsible for:

  • Evaluating and refining workflows across the entire operational ecosystem, from agent processes and customer-facing communications to vehicle cleaning, repair, and return-to-service procedures.
  • Actively identifying operational inefficiencies and uncovering opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensuring all processes are captured in clear, robust, and actionable playbooks.
  • Reviewing overall operational strategy and providing decisions and recommendations on key topics such as depot placement, build vs. buy, and more.

In This Role, You Will…

  • Identify process gaps and inefficiencies across operational workflows by conducting data pulls, analyzing trends, conducting interviews with users, and summarizing issues for review.
  • Partner cross-functionally to identify potential solutions and pilots to test ideas for improvements.
  • Develop clear, structured recommendations for process enhancements by outlining potential solutions, estimating impact, and preparing materials to support prioritization discussions.
  • Coordinate and track operational improvement initiatives from scoping the project, managing project timelines, scheduling stakeholder alignment, documenting decisions, and ensuring follow-through on action items.

Requirements

  • Currently working towards a B.S. or M.S. degree in business, industrial engineering, or a similar program.
  • Good academic standing.
  • Able to commit to a 12-week internship beginning in May or June of 2026.
  • At least one previous industry internship, co-op, or project completed in a relevant area.
  • Ability to relocate to the Bay Area, California for the duration of the internship.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Lucidchart.
  • Familiarity with Databricks/Looker.

Compensation & Benefits

The monthly salary range for this position is $5,500 to $7,500. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level of education. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, and a housing stipend (relocation assistance will be offered based on eligibility).
