About the Job

Intel New Mexico’s Disaggregation Manufacturing Organization is looking for a Process Engineer Graduate Intern to join their team. The ideal candidate will be pursuing a Master’s degree in a field related to engineering, have hands-on experience with Python, MS Office, Power BI, or Statistical Analysis, and have proven ability with design of experiment (DOE) techniques.

As a Process Engineer Graduate Intern, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring unparalleled tool availability across all shifts
• Optimizing cycle times to set a new standard in manufacturing efficiency
• Combating defects and fine-tuning parametric performance
• Architecting and blueprinting the future of material processing operations
• Making your mark on the factory floor where innovation is born

Qualifications

• Pursuing a MS degree in the fields that are powering the future, including Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Optoelectronics, Optics, Physics, Material Science, or a related engineering discipline.
• Hands-on experience with Python, MS Office, Power BI, or Statistical Analysis for at least 6 months.
• Hands-on experience in semiconductor engineering, manufacturing, or development
• Proven ability with design of experiment (DOE) techniques.
• Academic excellence with a maintained minimum 3.0 GPA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Insight into substrate manufacturing that sets you apart.
• A passion for programming, particularly Python.
• Experience in the realms of photonics, optoelectronics, optical transceiver components, semiconductor or device physics.
• Acumen for failure analysis techniques.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for Intel’s hybrid work model, which allows employees to split their time between working on-site and off-site.
