Job Description: Process/Data Analyst Intern
Qorvo’s Process/Data Analyst Internships are offered within the Global Operations group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.
Responsibilities:
• Building data queries (SQL): Create and maintain SQL queries to enable factory data monitoring and metric reporting.
• Data visualization and dashboarding: Assist GATE Test Solutions with creating data visualizations and dashboards using SpotFire.
• Collaboration: Utilize Qorvo’s SharePoint & Teams Environment for internal collaboration, project tracking, and communication.
• Support: Provide support to Test Solution Project Managers.
• Documentation and presentations: Create project documentation and presentations.
• Continuous Improvement Projects: Manage A3 projects.
• Process mapping and standardization: Participate in test process mapping or standardization projects.
Qualifications:
• Education: Currently pursuing a BS in Data Science, Electrical, Computer, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• GPA: Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Data Skills: Experience with statistical analysis and data visualizations.
• Other Skills: Strong organization skills, attention to detail, willingness to learn new applications and software with minimal guidance, self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred Skills: Experience with SpotFire or Databricks, project management experience or interest.
