K1 is a leading investor in small-cap enterprise software companies, managing over $20 billion in assets. This internship offers the potential for a full-time offer upon successful completion.
Job Description:
This is a summer internship position designed for current college students graduating in Winter 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027. The intern will support the Diligence team in evaluating potential investments. K1 emphasizes its internal development program, allowing candidates to directly enter private equity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support and shadow day-to-day Diligence operations.
• Learn how to perform basic due diligence on potential investments.
• Shadow calls with management and assist in company analysis.
• Complete a capstone project to be presented to senior team members.
• Support current team members in various responsibilities, as assigned.
Requirements:
• Excellent analytical, strategic, and implementation skills.
• Results-oriented, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and expeditiously.
• Able to both take direction and show initiative as appropriate.
• Proactive and high-energy with a hands-on approach to problem solving.

Compensation:
