Job Description:
K1 is seeking a Private Equity Summer Analyst to join its Diligence team in Manhattan Beach, CA. This is a summer internship opportunity targeting current college students graduating in Winter 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027. Top-performing interns may receive full-time offers upon completion of the program. The role involves supporting day-to-day Diligence operations and learning how to perform basic due diligence on potential investments. This role provides the opportunity to enter Private Equity straight out of college as opposed to having to start in Investment Banking.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support and shadow day-to-day Diligence operations
• Learn how to perform basic due diligence on potential investments
• Shadow calls with management and assist in company analysis
• Complete capstone project to be presented to senior team members
• Support current team members in various responsibilities, as assigned
Requirements:
• Excellent analytical, strategic, and implementation skills
• Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to take direction and show initiative
• Proactive and high-energy with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
• Uncompromising ethics and integrity
• Graduating Winter 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027- first generation college students are encouraged to apply

Compensation:
K1 Investment Management, LLC reasonably expects to pay a pro-rated salary of $85,000 for the position of Intern, Private Equity Analyst (Summer 2026).
